BTL EMSELLA ®

Do you suffer from urinary incontinence or bladder leakage? Are you tired of having to go to the bathroom multiple times throughout the night? Body aging, childbirth, and menopause can all cause your pelvic floor muscles (the muscles that support your bladder, vagina and uterus), to weaken over time, which reduces your bladder control. It’s a common problem affecting over 25 million Americans, but now you can take action to regain your quality of life! The EMSELLA chair is the first device of its kind and is a revolutionary, non-invasive FDA-cleared treatment for urinary incontinence and vaginal laxity in women!

EMSELLA is a chair that uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology (HIFEM) to activate motor neurons in your pelvic floor. As you sit in the EMSELLA chair, fully clothed, the EMSELLA technology causes contractions of your pelvic floor and your pelvic muscles are strengthened restoring support for the pelvic organs.

This treatment is non-surgical and non-invasive, and in as few as 3 weeks patients strongly agree their incidence of stress urinary incontinence was improved by 95%!

EMSELLA is so powerful that during one short 28 minute treatment, EMSELLA will provide 11,200 contractions of your pelvic floor muscles, which is equivalent to performing 11,200 kegels in 28 minutes! This effort cannot be achieved through common exercise (e.g., kegels on your own).

What is EMSELLA used for?

Many women experience a condition called Urinary Stress Incontinence (USI), which can be treated by the EMSELLA technology. USI occurs when your bladder leaks during physical activity, exercise, or while coughing, laughing, or sneezing. USI is most commonly caused by vaginal delivery, hormone changes due to age, or chronic lifting.

Many women also experience a condition called Urge Incontinence (UI), which can be treated by the EMSELLA technology. UI is a condition whereby loss of urine is associated with a strong desire to void that cannot be controlled.

EMSELLA will also treat a combination of USI and UI, often called “mixed incontinence”, which is a combination of all of the above.

What is the recovery period for EMSELLA?

The results from using EMSELLA are both instantaneous and ongoing. EMSELLA therapy is non-invasive and non-surgical, so there is no recovery period or downtime. You can come in, get your treatment and then return to your normal daily activities.

How long is the treatment?

Each treatment is 28 minutes and treatments are performed twice a week for 3 weeks (6 therapies total). To help maintain muscle tone, maintenance treatments are recommended once every year.

EMSELLA treatments begin at $400 per treatment. Financing options are available.
